About Le Kesh

Lekeshia’s passion for cooking stems from her mother; a cotton picker born in Marianna, Arkansas who knew the true meaning of “from farm to table”. Growing up, everything was made from scratch, fresh cut, and without the use of a food processor. This upbringing created Lekeshia’s passion for freshness and food that packs an undeniable flavor punch.

Over the past few decades Lekeshia’s moves from Flint, Atlanta, Chicago, and now to Dallas, has heightened her food combinations through many different flavor palettes; not to mention her multi-international exposure. Her cooking experience includes running a catering company, being the creative force behind large-scale wedding events, a hired personal chef, and conducting cooking tutorials.

Notably, in 2016 she was selected out of 300 people in Chicago as a finalist for MasterChef.

Her style of cooking has been coined as Mexi-Creole, a colorful and fun style for creative dishes where Cinco De Mayo meets Mardi Gras. For Lekeshia, cooking is not a job, it’s a passion!
